Job Summary: The Quality Assurance Auditor ensures compliance with manufacturing processes and quality standards within designated plants and reports directly to the PFS TECO Director of Modular Inspections. The Quality Assurance Auditor conducts thorough quality control audits to uphold the integrity of products and processes.

Duties/Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive quality control audits as mandated by PFS TECO's director of inspections.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of individual plant quality assurance programs.
Adhere strictly to established PFS TECO audit protocols and procedures.
Maintain regular communication with the Director of Modular Inspections, providing updates on audit findings and field conditions.
Record all expenses in Acumatica, receipts, and inspection reports for acceptance by the Director of Modular Inspections.
Conduct all necessary quality control audits, emphasizing adherence to compliance standards distinct from manufacturer-initiated quality control inspections.
Ensure all audits align with PFS TECO Certification Procedures or relevant jurisdictional regulations.
Conduct regular quality assurance surveillance at each manufacturer's plant, adjusting inspection frequency based on plant experience and performance.
Assess manufacturer records and procedures to ensure alignment with job requirements outlined in accepted quality control manuals, plans, specifications, and shop drawings.
Promptly report any manufacturer records and procedures deficiencies to the Director of Modular Inspections.
Maintain proficiency in applicable codes, standards, and manufacturing document regulations.
Follow detailed procedures outlined in the PFS TECO Inspection and Certification Procedures guide.
Oversee the inspection and calibration of test equipment, monitor tests, and inspect stored materials regularly.
Diligently report, document, and follow up on non-conformances with corrective actions, including inspections of other units for similar issues.
Conduct comprehensive reviews of non-conformances and plant quality control performance with plant management after each audit.
Adhere to plant locations and travel arrangements determined by the Director of Modular Inspections, which may include overnight hotel stays.

Required Skills/Abilities:
Ability to adhere to detailed instructions and checklists, including familiarity with construction criteria and quality management system auditing standards.
Proficient in conducting audits and evaluating manufacturers' quality management systems.
Education and Experience:
High School diploma or equivalent
Minimum of two years’ experience in building construction, code enforcement, or quality control audits.
International Code Counsel (ICC) certifications or demonstrated ability to acquire necessary ICC certifications.
Requirements
Physical and Travel Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Ability to travel to visit clients for routine audits and meetings.
Domestic travel is required approximately 75% of the time.
