Job description
Piping Technology Company is seeking a hard-working and dedicated Rail Car Loading/Unloading Laborer at a gas storage facility.
Job Summary:
This position will be responsible for the safe and efficient loading/unloading of products into railcars and semi trucks.
Start, stop, and operate railcar equipment
Ensures that the rail car is positioned and secured at the loading rack
Identify and report safety or environmental concerns
Communicate with facility personnel via radio to advise the status of the transfer and report any problems that occur
Compile and/or maintain information such as time sheets, safety forms, and work logs
Perform other duties as assigned
12-hour shift- working 7 days on/7 days off
Loading product into fuel truck.
Job Qualifications:
Must be able to follow safety standards and be safety conscious at all times
18 years old or older and legally able to work in U.S.
Ability to interact and communicate effectively
Ability to communicate and/or exchange information and instructions
Stable work history
Pass a drug screen
Regular attendance and punctually is required
Hours are 3:30 - 3:30 7 days on-7 days off schedule
Physical Requirements:
Work outside in environmental conditions, which may include extreme heat or cold
Climb stairs and ladders
Lift 50 pounds
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
