Required Qualifications
Required Qualifications for all ranks: An earned doctoral degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a closely related field An undergraduate degree in Construction Management from an ACCE or ABET accredited institution, or in Construction Engineering or Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited institution, or a closely related field from a similarly accredited institution Experience teaching in an online environment Excellent oral and written English language skills For the rank of Associate Professor, in addition to those required above: A demonstrated record of excellent teaching abilities Faculty of Instruction: A minimum of five years of teaching experience at the university level Faculty of Practice: A minimum of five years of construction industry experience For the rank of Professor, in addition to those required above: Faculty of Instruction: A minimum of 10 years of teaching experience at the university level Faculty of Practice: A minimum of 10 years of construction industry experience A demonstrated record of leadership or significant contributions in teaching and instructional activities The successful applicant will be offered the appropriate rank and title based on the established standards of the university and the Department of Engineering Technology.
Preferred Qualifications
Industry experience in construction management or construction engineering Ability to develop new course content and teach in a fully online environment Professional certification and/or licensure in a related discipline
