This hybrid role is ideal for individuals who want to be active on job sites while also supporting our operational needs through safe and timely transportation of materials and equipment. If you're physically capable, have a strong work ethic, and hold a valid driver's license, we want to hear from you.Key Responsibilities:
  • Site Preparation & Maintenance: Clear debris and obstacles, load/unload materials and tools, and maintain a clean and organized job site.
  • Equipment Operation: Use hand tools, power tools, and small machinery; assist with equipment upkeep under guidance from our Vehicle & Equipment Manager.
  • Material Handling: Move and secure construction materials such as dirt, gravel, sand, and more throughout the site.
  • Support to Skilled Workers: Assist Field Supervisors, Graders, and Site Work teams with daily project tasks.
  • Driving & Transport: Operate company trucks to transport equipment, materials, or debris between job sites or to designated facilities. Perform vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues as needed.
  • Compliance & Safety: Always adhere to safety regulations and wear required PPE, including vests, safety glasses, long pants, and hard-soled work boots. Maintain a clean and professional appearance.
  • Physical Labor: Perform strenuous work such as lifting, digging, carrying, and raking in various weather and terrain conditions.
  • Communication: Maintain clear, respectful communication with crew and supervisors. Report issues, delays, or safety concerns promptly.
  • Additional Duties: Assist with daily cleanup and other tasks as assigned.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Prior construction or related experience is a plus but not required
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record
  • Strong work ethic, team mindset, and willingness to learn
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and follow instructions
  • Reliable, punctual, and committed to safety

Physical Requirements:
  • Lifting & Carrying: Must be able to lift, carry, load, and unload heavy materials (50-100 lbs) repeatedly throughout the day. Includes manual transport of tools, equipment, construction materials (e.g., dirt, gravel, sand), and assistance with loading/unloading vehicles.
  • Standing & Walking: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods on uneven or rough terrain, both on job sites and during loading/unloading tasks. Includes frequent movement across construction sites and in/out of vehicles.
  • Bending, Kneeling, & Crouching: Regularly perform bending, kneeling, and crouching movements to complete tasks such as shoveling, raking, or assisting with installations. Must be able to work at ground level and maintain these positions for prolonged periods.
  • Climbing: Ability to safely climb into and out of trucks, heavy equipment, or machinery multiple times per day. Includes navigating ladders, steps, or uneven surfaces while maintaining balance and caution.
  • Driving: Capable of safely operating company vehicles over short and long distances, including maneuvering in tight or active construction zones.
  • Manual Dexterity: Proficient hand-eye coordination and hand strength to operate hand tools, power tools, tie-downs, and vehicle controls with accuracy.
  • Pushing and Pulling: Required to push and pull heavy materials, carts, equipment, or attachments across job sites or onto vehicles. Includes use of ramps, chains, or tie-down systems.
  • Repetitive Motions: Comfortable performing repetitive tasks such as lifting, digging, driving, or operating equipment throughout the workday.
  • Vision & Hearing: Sufficient visual acuity to safely operate vehicles and equipment, read instructions or plans, and work in varying lighting conditions. Must be able to hear verbal instructions, alarms, and warnings on busy job sites or while operating vehicles.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, rain, or wind. Maintaining productivity and safety regardless of the weather.
  • Endurance & Stamina: High physical stamina required to maintain steady work output during long shifts that include both physical labor and driving responsibilities.

Upon offer, employees will be required to subject and pass a pre-employment drug screen, background and MVR check.
