This position is for a heavy civil equipment operator Foreman to work on the I-26 Widening Project near Asheville, NC. In this role, the employee will supervise equipment operators of various sizes to move large amounts of earth, rock, and other materials to build a new roadway. The candidates must have strong supervision skills and understand safety procedures when working with heavy machinery. Additionally, the supervisor may also perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on the equipment.
The typical work week is Monday through Friday, 10 hours per day, with additional hours as necessary to support the overall project needs. The job may require day or night work along with working in various weather conditions.
