An  Electrical Supervisor/Superintendent in the oil and gas industry supervises and coordinates a team of electricians and technicians who install, maintain, and repair electrical and automated control systems at the field site. This role ensures all work is completed safely, on schedule, and in compliance with industry codes and regulations. 

Key Duties: 
  • Installing Conduit above and below ground. 
    • Types of Conduit – Rigid, EMT, Plasti-Bond Conduit (PVC Coated Rigid), and PVC Conduit.
  • Installing Cable Tray
  • Glanding Cables
  • Pulling Cables
  • Installing Instrument and Electrical Equipment
  • Installing Junction Boxes
  • Terminating Cables
  • Megging Cables
  • Reading Schematics
