Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to provide field oversight and coordination for commercial and industrial construction projects, from pre-construction through completion and close-out. The role involves supporting project teams as a representative of the client or construction management firm and ensuring all field operations are delivered to the highest standards.
This position is ideal for a seasoned professional with 15+ years of construction experience, including direct responsibility for coordinating trade contractors and managing job site logistics. Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience working in operational or “in-plant” environments and a solid foundation in trade sequencing, contractor oversight, and construction documentation.
Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with project managers during pre-construction planning

Develop and maintain working CPM schedules from preliminary project timelines

Coordinate with local agencies to verify site requirements before construction mobilization

Communicate daily/weekly progress updates to clients and stakeholders

Oversee on-site trade contractor mobilization and field operations

Prepare and update 3-week look-ahead schedules; lead weekly foreman meetings

Document daily site activities and upload progress photos into project management software

Support project meetings, RFIs, and submittal tracking

Ensure field operations adhere to safety protocols and coordinate with safety personnel

Monitor field construction to verify compliance with design specifications

Assist in project close-out, including gathering final contractor documentation

Identify and recommend process improvements to support better service delivery

Represent the company with professionalism, integrity, and attention to quality
Education & Qualifications:

Associate’s degree in Construction Management or completion of a formal apprenticeship program preferred; equivalent experience considered

U.S. Citizenship required

10+ years of construction field experience, including 7+ years as a superintendent

Experience leading and coordinating trade contractor performance

Familiar with inspection processes and coordinating with regulatory agencies

OSHA 10 certification (must be current)

Proficient with project scheduling tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6)

Proficient in project management platforms (e.g., Procore, Prolog, Projectmates, or similar)

Strong written/verbal communication skills and time management

Proven track record of successfully managing complex construction projects in diverse environments
