The Superintendent is responsible for overseeing the construction, quality, and safety of projects under his/her supervision. You will represent the company in a professional and courteous manner, while maintaining the high standards for which W. R. Dunkin & Son, Inc. is known.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure work is completed per schedule and within the budget.
- Maintain necessary paperwork and keep accurate records.
- Perform assigned work in accordance with OSHA, Customer and W. R. Dunkin & Son, Inc. Safety Standards.
- Maintain all of the company’s tools and equipment in a secure manner.
- Overall coordination with all subcontractors onsite and running weekly subcontractor meetings.
- Daily communication and providing updates with the Project Manager and Owner Representative
- Organizing and managing crews for self-performed tasks.
- Maintain currency in First Aid and CPR training.
- Complete and submit all required paperwork.
- Counsel field employees in W. R. Dunkin & Son, Inc. Quality Policy awareness.
- Attend bi-annual superintendent quality improvement team meetings.
What We’re Looking For
- Knowledge of reading and understanding blueprints.
- Job scheduling & allotted time.
- Utilizing project management software for daily reports, safety reports, and reviewing project documents
- Knowledge of construction tools and equipment.
- Supervisor Quality Improvement Procedures.
- Working knowledge of tools & equipment.
- Manpower scheduling & allotment.
- 5 years working in the construction industry.
- OSHA “Ten” for the Construction Industry certification (to be completed in the first year of employment).
- Current First Aid /CPR certification.
Location: This position requires the candidate to work on-site in the Anderson, IN area.
