Tremont Construction Management is seeking a Project Manager for our office located in the heart of Boston's Financial District
The ideal candidate will have experience in fast-paced Corporate Interior Construction. Along with being self-motivated, able to work independently as well as alongside the project team, and possess the ability to strategize and manage Tremont exposure while providing world-class customer service.
What You'll Do
- As the point of contact on assigned projects, performs a variety of highly skilled duties such as coordinating and managing review teams
- Facilitates and troubleshoots the myriad of problems associated with developing complex systems or with coordinating and developing, and designing projects
- Provides highly skilled technical and management advice and assistance to department management and personnel
- Responds to inquiries about projects
- Chairs various project review and pre-submittal meetings
- Establishes and maintains liaison as required with boards, committees, and commissions
- Assists in developing departmental plans, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures
- Performs project design for civil engineering projects
- Coordinates schedules of staff and other interested parties
We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction related field
- Prior experience as Project Manager within the corporate tenant interiors market in Boston
- Strong interpersonal skills to facilitate meetings articulating complex concepts
- Proven communication, influencing, and negotiation skills; ability to work well with a highly collaborative, team-oriented approach to problem-solving
- Positive, energetic attitude to achieve great things
- Experience in strategic planning, risk management, and change management
