Prior experience in construction oversight preferred.
Education in construction and engineering technology or formal construction trades training.
General knowledge of construction techniques, materials and processes including but not limited to excavation, concrete, trenching, road construction and structures.
- Must possess or be able to qualify for DOT materials certifications.
Must be able to read and interpret design drawings.
Must possess and effectively utilize strong verbal and written communication skills.
Must be able to effectively communicate and interact with diverse personalities from the engineering and construction disciplines.
Critical thinking/common sense and persuasion skills are essential.
- Valid Driver's License.
