Mid-Level Construction Manager

Objective:

Seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead complex industrial construction projects, with a focus on delivering high-quality outcomes, maintaining rigorous safety standards, and ensuring precise project execution in challenging industrial environments.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead comprehensive project management, encompassing strategic planning, resource allocation, and performance tracking across all project phases
  • Develop and implement robust project frameworks that align with organizational objectives and client expectations
  • Exercise advanced technical expertise to ensure superior construction quality and operational excellence
  • Conduct meticulous site inspections, verifying compliance with engineering specifications and industry standards
  • Manage comprehensive project documentation, including detailed progress reports, budget analyses, and performance metrics
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, optimizing communication and workflow efficiency
  • Implement proactive cost control strategies to maintain financial discipline
  • Interpret and translate complex technical documentation, including blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings
  • Develop and maintain formal communication protocols for stakeholder engagement
  • Ensure strict adherence to company, client, and regulatory policy requirements
  • Prepare comprehensive tender documentation, estimates, and construction schedules
  • Systematically track and report project milestones, risks, and deliverables

Requirements:

  • 8-10 years of demonstrable construction management experience
  • Specialized expertise in chemical plant construction
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Construction Management, or related technical field
  • Robust background in mechanical or structural systems, with specific expertise in chemical manufacturing infrastructure
  • Advanced understanding of OSHA regulations and industrial building codes
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex industrial construction projects
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills
  • Proficiency in project management software and technical documentation tools
  • Professional certifications in project management or construction safety a significant advantage
