We’re hiring a Construction General Laborer / Pre-Apprentice to join our expanding team. No experience required. Training and tools are provided.
This position comes with the ability to transition into our long-standing, highly regarded Apprenticeship Program.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assisting Sheet Metal Journeymen and Apprentices in daily job duties, both in shop and on jobsites.
- Assembling and fabricating flashing, panels, and ductwork.
- Cleaning and daily maintenance of shop and jobsite.
- Daily usage of power tools and hand tools
- Installing exterior sheet metal on new construction builds
- Assist with building maintenance
- Cutting, measuring, bending, and assembling sheet metal
- Assist in shop fabrication process and in the field installations at job sites
Qualifications and Skills:
- High School diploma or HSED (required for apprenticeship)
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Strong work ethic and attendance
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and co-workers
- Sheet Metal experience preferred
