Responsibilities:


  • Financial Maestro: Manage all financial aspects of construction projects, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and financial reporting.

  • Budgeting Guru: Collaborate with project managers to develop accurate budgets and proactively monitor and update them to reflect project changes.

  • Cost Control Champion: Implement strategies to optimize project profitability and identify cost-saving opportunities.

  • Financial Analyst Extraordinaire: Analyze financial data, prepare insightful reports, and communicate key metrics to stakeholders.

  • Compliance Champion: Ensure adherence to accounting standards and mitigate financial risks to protect project investments.

  • Vendor Partner: Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and review invoices for accuracy and approval.

  • Team Player: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (development, construction, finance) throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Process Improvement Pro: Drive continuous improvement in financial management practices and systems to ensure efficiency and accuracy.

Required Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA a plus).

  • Minimum 5 years of accounting/finance experience with 2+ years in real estate development or construction.

  • Strong understanding of financial principles, budgeting, and cost control techniques.

  • Proficiency in financial analysis, reporting, and financial modeling.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.

  • Detail-oriented with a knack for problem-solving and thriving in a fast-paced environment.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel, accounting software, and ERP systems.
