**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a Construction Controller to oversee financial operations within our construction projects in Houston. The ideal candidate will be responsible for financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting to ensure the successful completion of projects within budget constraints.
**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; Master's degree preferred
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is a plus
- 5+ years of experience in financial management, preferably in the construction industry
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
**Responsibilities:**
- Develop and maintain project budgets, ensuring accuracy and adherence to financial guidelines
- Monitor project financial performance and provide regular reports to stakeholders
- Collaborate with project managers to analyze financial risks and opportunities
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Conduct financial audits and ensure compliance with regulations and policies
