Job Description

A growing construction firm is seeking a motivated and experienced Project Foreman with 2-3 years of leadership experience in the construction trade. This role is ideal for a dedicated professional looking to manage projects, lead teams, and contribute to high-quality commercial construction, including renovations, new office buildouts, pre-engineered steel buildings, and ground-up commercial structures.

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret project plans, drawings, and specifications.
  • Oversee and manage daily project operations, ensuring efficiency and quality.
  • Estimate time and materials, coordinating resources as needed.
  • Schedule and supervise the workforce and subcontractors.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and project teams.
  • Ensure all work meets high-quality standards and project specifications.
  • Prepare and submit daily project reports with progress updates and photos.
  • Approve digital time cards for crews.
  • Identify and communicate change order requirements to the project manager.
  • Order materials from vendors and arrange deliveries.
  • Perform hands-on work as required by the project scope.
  • Maintain job site safety, conducting inspections and enforcing safety

protocols.

  • Work with project supervisors to schedule workforce needs.
  • Lead by example, promoting a positive attitude and adherence to safety

practices.

  • Operate and maintain construction tools and equipment safely.
  • Train and mentor team members on best practices and workplace safety.
  • Meet with code officials and coordinate job site inspections.
  • Maintain a clean and organized job site.

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of experience as a Project Foreman or similar role in commercial

construction.

  • Ability to work 8-10 hour shifts, Monday-Friday.
  • Strong understanding of commercial construction processes and terminology.
  • Experience managing construction sites and labor hours efficiently.
  • Knowledge of safety hazards, risk mitigation, and occupational safety

precautions.

  • Proficiency in project management software.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and work from project plans and specifications.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Critical thinking, problem-solving, and adaptability in technical challenges.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Effective multitasking, time management, and team leadership skills.
  • Positive attitude toward project challenges and deadlines.
  • Physical, mental, and emotional fitness to handle job demands.
