Job Description
Kraemer North America is currently looking for a
Carpenter Foreman
to join our team in our Upper Midwest - MN Region. The Carpenter Foreman supervises and coordinates activities of crews and ensures all construction complies with plans/specs and contract requirements. The Foreman also assists in preparing and executing work activity plans while adhering to Kraemer's Safety Program.

Responsibilities:
Supervise, lead and train crew members
Manage safety, planning, production, and performance of directed construction tasks
Set clear expectations for safety, quality, and productivity of all tasks
Monitor daily progress, crew safety, documentation, work processes, etc.
Perform onsite coordination of labor activities, materials, and equipment; request materials needed for scope of work.
Establish and adjust work sequences to meet schedule, using knowledge of capacities of equipment and assigned personnel
Guarantee all safety precautions and quality standards are met
Resolve problems when they arise
Manage labor budgets
Approve timecards with correct cost codes and hours
Work directly with field engineers ensuring drawings and submittal updates are incorporated into field construction
Lead safety Team meetings
Support safety procedures and processes for crews and sub-contractors
Maintain knowledge of Kraemer's values and strategic plan
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years' related experience working in Lead/Foreman capacity (preferably in Heavy Civil industry)
In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and OSHA guidelines
Ability to read drawings, plans and blueprints
Ability to understand RFI's and how to incorporate into plans
Excellent organization and leadership skills
Ability to motivate crews to complete work in a safe manner that meets quality standards
Proven ability to perform work in a safe manner
Ability to work with tools and equipment
Have a high degree of flexibility in a changing environment
Must be able to work in extreme temperatures, high places, and under pressure
Must have a valid Driver's License and reliable transportation
Benefits:
Union employees receive benefits as outlined in their respective collective bargaining agreements.
Hiring Range: $49.00+ per hour, plus applicable union fringe benefits.
