Job Summary:

This role is essential in ensuring the successful installation of conduit systems and providing high-quality service to our valued customers. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in performing these installations in a cost-effective, efficient, and productive manner while maintaining a commitment to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation of Conduit Systems: Perform the installation of conduit systems for fiber optic infrastructure, ensuring all installations meet regulatory standards and customer requirements.
• Project Execution: Collaborate with team members to ensure the timely completion of projects within the scope and specifications provided.
• Efficiency and Productivity: Strive to achieve optimal productivity while minimizing material waste, ensuring projects are completed on time.
• Quality Assurance: Follow company guidelines and industry best practices to deliver the highest quality service, ensuring system reliability and customer satisfaction.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and practices to maintain a safe working environment and prevent workplace accidents.
• Customer Interaction: Communicate professionally with customers, addressing any questions or concerns related to installations and providing excellent service at all times.
• Equipment and Tools Management: Ensure proper use, maintenance, and storage of tools and equipment to ensure efficiency and longevity.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

• No prior experience is necessary, however, any demonstrated interest or aptitude for hands-on work, physical work, or working with cable or electrical components is preferred.
• Outside Plant or Landscaping experience is also highly preferred.
• Must have a clean driving record and the ability to pass a criminal background check.

Skills and Competencies:

• Regular travel is required for this position.
• Ability to work well with others as part of a team.
• Must be computer proficient.
• Positive, can-do attitude.
• Willingness and desire to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of attention to detail and quality results.
• Equipment operating experience preferred.
• Possess good time management skills.
• Willing to train, accept feedback, and learn the job according to i3 Broadband standards.
• Must be available to work occasional overtime and some weekends.
• Must have a valid driver's license.

Working Conditions:

• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, etc.).
• Capable of standing, walking, bending, stooping, and kneeling for extended periods.
• Ability to climb ladders, enter confined spaces, and work at heights if required.
• Manual dexterity to operate tools, equipment, and construction machinery safely.
• Visual and auditory ability to detect hazards, read diagrams, and follow instructions.
• Must be able to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) such as hard hats, gloves, vests, and safety glasses.
• Must be able to carry and lift up to 75 pounds.
