The Opportunity
FuntoNetwork is seeking a Park Construction Superintendent for upcoming project opportunity: John Chavis Memorial Park – Phase 2.
Core Responsibilities
- Execute the Park Construction Superintendent scope for John Chavis Memorial Park – Phase 2: Manage field sequencing, subcontractors, site protection, daily reporting, schedule, logistics, and punch-list closure.
- Complete site or receiving readiness, mobilization, access, safety, sequencing, material, equipment, and outage coordination.
- Execute and document the assigned installation, construction, maintenance, shipping, receiving, or field-service activities to the approved requirements.
- Maintain daily production, labor, material, custody, safety, inspection, issue, and change records; coordinate required corrective work.
- Complete testing, punch-list resolution, reconciliation, turnover documentation, training or demonstrations, and client acceptance.
- Trace assigned work to the RFP scope, requirement or RTM row, deliverable, dependency, acceptance criterion, schedule milestone, and supporting evidence.
- Review official solicitation materials and addenda affecting this workstream; document assumptions, open items, exclusions, risks, and required client decisions.
- Prepare role-specific technical inputs, work products, estimates, implementation details, quality records, and proposal or post-award delivery evidence.
- Coordinate interfaces and handoffs with project management, business analysis, technical, field, quality, compliance, training, and operations workstreams.
- Maintain status, issue, decision, change, and evidence records and escalate blockers before they affect submission or delivery readiness.
What You Bring
- Demonstrated experience performing Park Construction Superintendent responsibilities in public-sector, regulated, enterprise, or comparable environments.
- Ability to produce complete, reviewable work products tied to requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Strong documentation, stakeholder coordination, risk awareness, confidentiality, and deadline discipline.
- Relevant licenses, certifications, clearances, insurance, or local delivery capacity when required by the solicitation.
